These terms cover your use of Pillowcase Podcast. Pillowcase Podcast is run by Banner Plumb, an individual based in Montana ("we," "us"). By signing up, you agree to these terms. Questions? Email story@pillowcasepodcast.com.

What you get

A personalized audio bedtime story, about 10 minutes long, starring your child. It arrives by email as an MP3 with a play link. Your first story arrives within the hour after you sign up. After that, a new story arrives every Sunday by 4pm ET.

Who can sign up

You must be 18 or older. You must be the child's parent or legal guardian, or have their permission. If you sign up a child as a gift, you confirm that their parent or guardian has agreed and that the email you give us is theirs. Each subscription is for one child.

Price and free trial

Your first story is free. We ask for a card to start, and you won't be charged for 7 days.
If you don't cancel during those 7 days, you'll be charged $7 per month, starting on day 7 and on the same day each month after that, until you cancel.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
If the price ever changes, we'll email you at least 30 days before it affects you.

Cancelling

Cancel anytime with the link in any story email. If you cancel during your free week, you won't be charged. When you cancel, it takes effect at the end of the week or month you're in. Stories keep coming until then, and then they stop. You won't be charged again.

Refunds

If you're charged and didn't mean to be, email us within 7 days of the charge and we'll refund it.

Your stories

The stories we send are yours to keep and play for your family, even after you cancel. The MP3 attached to each email is your permanent copy. Please don't sell them or use them commercially.

How the stories are made

Each story is written for your child using AI (Claude, made by Anthropic) and read by an AI narrator voice (ElevenLabs). We give the AI strict rules: nothing scary, no villains, no brand-name characters, and nothing you've asked us not to mention. Stories can be silly and things can go wrong along the way, but every one ends calm and ready for sleep. A person doesn't read each story before it's sent. The stories are for bedtime fun. They aren't therapy or medical advice. If anything in a story isn't right for your child, tell us and we'll fix it.

What you tell us

Please give accurate details, and only share what you're comfortable having in a story. You can add details, or ask us to leave something out, anytime from the link in your story emails. To change the email where stories go, email us.

Delivery

We do our best to deliver every story on time. Email can be delayed or filtered, so check Promotions or Spam if a story is missing. If a story doesn't arrive, email us and we'll resend it. If we ever stop running Pillowcase Podcast, we'll tell you first and stop all charges.

Ending service

We may end a subscription that's used for fraud or abuse. If we do, we'll refund any time you've paid for and haven't received.

The legal part

Pillowcase Podcast is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or unexpected damages, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Montana.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email you before the change takes effect.
